The Shoebill Stork Wingspan has a large that can reach up to 8.2 feet (2.5 meters). Their large wings are important for their hunting and foraging habits, as they allow them to soar over the wetlands and swamps they inhabit, and to fly low over the water, using their large bill to scan for prey. Their large wings also help them to stay aloft for long periods of time while hunting.
