If a premises licence holder wishes to change the named Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) an application must be submitted. A change of DPS would be required if the current DPS leaves the business. A new DPS would be required in order to continue operating legally. The application to change the DPS can take immediate effect or take effect on a specified date. If the application seeks to take immediate effect, the new DPS can take on their role during the consultation period.
