The creators intended to give the hero
The playable building begins in Fractured Peaks. My hero's horse being killed leaving him trapped in a cave by himself for the night. From the caves emerged the first destination, Nevesk, a very small town where things aren't the way they seem. Lilith did already have an impact on the people who lived there, and her true impact is due to her having people indulge in their darker sides. This was the first encounter my character had with other NPCs, and it was evident that the creators intended to give the hero a greater role in the story, by giving them their own dialogue and taking roles as a cutscene.
