আগামী ২৯ ডিসেম্বর ৩৮তম বিসিএসের প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে বলে জানিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ সরকারি কর্ম কমিশন (পিএসসি)।
পিএসসি সূত্রে জানা গেছে, এ বছর ৩৮তম বিসিএস প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিতে ৩ লাখ ৪৬ হাজার ৫৩২ জন প্রার্থী আবেদন করেছেন।
উল্লেখ্য, গত ১০ আগস্ট ৩৮তম বিসিএসের আবেদন কার্যক্রম শেষ হয়। এছাড়া পিএসসির বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে ৩৮তম বিসিএসের মাধ্যমে জনপ্রশাসনে ২ হাজার ২৪ জন ক্যাডার কর্মকর্তা নিয়োগ করা হবে বলে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছিল। প্রশাসন ক্যাডারের ৩০০, পুলিশ ক্যাডারের ১০০টি পদসহ ৩৮তম বিসিএসে সাধারণ ক্যাডারে মোট ৫২০টি, কারিগরি ও পেশাগত ক্যাডারে ৫৪৯টি এবং শিক্ষা ক্যাডারে ৯৫৫টি পদ থাকছে।
