Stranger Things actor David Harbour has admitted that his time playing World of Warcraft was the "most embarrassing experience" in his life . He also said playing the game so deeply "ruined my entire life about one year."

"In 2005. I got crap out of this game! It was a disaster for a good year. I'm talking about, I was in a state of mind. I was completely obsessed with the video games. I was an Night Elf warrior called Norad and he was the second tank in my entire guild," Harbour said in Stranger Things video for Netflix (via PC Gamer).

The actor then said the actor also was a player in The Sims quite a lot and had one memorable experience that changed his life.

"It's hilarious, since I was a player on The Sims. You can be acting on the Sims. It is possible to advance in your profession however, what you need to do is, like working on your skills. You must improve your speech and on your body, don't you think? I can remember when my avatar reached to a certain point in his professional career, and I tried to convince him to improve the way he spoke," Harbour said. "He was more of a support player however I wanted him to improve his body and speech and all he wanted to do was relax playing video games. Then I thought"Whoa whoa whoa I was in a vortex moment when I could see my life unfold before me."
