Have you noticed anything similar? Do you think this is a gimmick created by Jagex to encourage people to become interested in making (or purchase your own cat)? Or if you die with a clockwork cat following you, does your clockwork cat become a "stray cat" roaming around the area for a time instead of just disappearing the way that most items dropped do (but how often do people die in the GE)? (As an aside, have you noticed that if there's the real thing following your, it's likely to be involved in fights with stray dogs you cross paths with,)
The familiars have had their damage output scaled up, but then nerfed after it was found that titans were too harsh on bosses in particular. I don't know how it's currently. According to mod rathe: Summoning has been largely set aside for the moment because we believe that it requires an overall Evolution of Summoning update to fully reflect the value of it.
While the fact that everything will be multicombat makes it somewhat better than today. Concerning herblore Mod Pi: With reguards[sic] to herblore and prayer currently in game bonus'[sic] that the top ranks give to you push players to a level so high above their tier that it was making managing bosses extremely difficult.
If you were to balance for players who did not have these boosts the turm + ovl will consider the battle a walk in the park. If you matched for a player who has these boosts, then they were pretty much a requirement. This was far from ideal as the buffs that prayer and potions offer should be considered an additional boost to what you have, not equally important as having the most powerful weapon you can have in the game.
